PRESS

How ethical and sustainable is PRESS?

PRESS is included in The Good Shopping Guide’s Soups Ethical Ratings Table. PRESS has yet to meet our ethical standards, but we believe that in the future, the brand will make the necessary changes to function as a more ethical organisation. PRESS might increase consumer trust by applying for Ethical Accreditation, which would include a more complete examination and suggestions for ethical development.

What does PRESS do?

PRESS was founded in LA when the founders saw how powerful plant based nutrition could be in assisting people with living a busy, healthy and happy life. PRESS has a large range of nutritious products such as Juices, smoothies, milkshakes, kombucha and shots as well as soup.

For which criteria does PRESS perform poorly?

PRESS received a low rating for its lack of Organic and Vegetarian products. PRESS also has no Genetic Modification policy but has not received any criticism for this and therefore receives a middle rating.

In what areas does PRESS score well for its ethics?

PRESS receives a high score for its Environmental Report, the brand discusses ingredients, packaging and being plant based. The brand also claims to be ‘plastic neutral’ as it offsets the plastic sold with its products with all of this information for a small business it receives a top rating.

How can PRESS improve its ethical rating?

The Ethical rating of a brand is divided into three categories by The Good Shopping Guide: the Environment, People and Animals. Find out more about how we rate.

PRESS may improve its rating and fulfil our fundamental ethical requirements by releasing a Genetic Modification Policy and an Organic range.
